Golders Green, the new CD of Pete Ham demos has now been released. Featuring twenty Ham demos recorded from 1967 to 1975, this new collection follows much in the vain of 7 Park Avenue, the first CD of demos from the Rykodisc label. Liner notes are by Ken Sharp, the highly-acclaimed author of books on Cheap Trick, Raspberries, and Power Pop music. This collection again has occasionally instrumental augmentation. Bob Jackson, Ron Griffiths, and Chris von Sneidern are some of the musicians helping out. A picture of Pete's daughter, Petera Ham, is included in the booklet.

The Japanese version of Golders Green includes two bonus tracks, not included on the U.S. version - "Piano Red" (4:57) and "Evening Sky" (2:25). Also included is a lyrics sheet for all twenty-two tracks.

Credits From Liner Notes The demos of Pete Ham were originally mono, recorded on a Sound-On-Sound, early-sixties, Revox tape machine. Many are represented here in their original form. Some new overdubs were recorded to fill in a discrepancy of the level of the vocal track to the instruments. Some were also done to add a rhythm track or more full range of sound to enhance the listening experience. Every effort was made to stay true to the integrity of the era the songs were recorded in. All vocal and lead guitar performances are Pete's Ham's.
